Release Train Engineer (Rte)

OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) with strong Product Owner (PO) capabilities to lead Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and drive product vision and delivery.

The ideal candidate will be a servant leader and coach who facilitates Agile processes, removes impediments, and ensures alignment between business goals and technical execution.Required Skills & Qualifications : Proven experience as an RTE in a SAFe environment.Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe principles.Experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product-facing role.Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.Proficiency in Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).

SAFe RTE and / or SAFe PO / PM certification preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Release Train Engineer (RTE) : Facilitate PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.Manage and optimize the flow of value through the ART using tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or Rally.Collaborate with Product Management, System Architects, and Scrum Masters to ensure alignment.Track and report on ART metrics (velocity, predictability, quality, etc.).

Escalate and remove impediments that block ART progress.Foster relentless improvement and Agile maturity across teams.As a Product Owner (PO) : Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize the product backlog.Translate business needs into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and review sessions.Ensure the team delivers value aligned with business objectives.Act as the voice of the customer within the ART.About UsInfosys is a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting.
