Overview

Peerless-AV is a leading designer and manufacturer of award-winning audio solutions for over 75 years.

Our AV solutions range from interactive kiosks, outdoor displays, video wall mounts and more.

You may not know Peerless-AV by name, but you have likely seen our products in malls, amusement parks, hotels, stadiums and / or various restaurant drive-thru locations.

Responsibilities

Solicit profitable and growing sales for Peerless-AV products to customers and prospects via telephone and email communications.

Source new opportunities through show leads and other venues.

Route qualified opportunities to proper channels.

Qualifications

HYBRID POSITION : This position is eligible to participate in Peerless-AV's Hybrid Work Model.

Travel : Ability to travel to visit customers or projects as needed.

Experience :

At least two years in a Customer Service / Telesales position with experience in Electronics, Mounts or Audio Visual industries.

Skills / Abilities :

Effective writing skills

Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written

Highly self-motivated, high energy, strong work ethic

Well-developed people skills and can work well with others

Good judgment, positive mental attitude

Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)

High personal integrity in work and social interactions

Negotiation Skills

Bilingual Preferred (English Required)

Essential Results

Solicit new accounts, secure orders, and follow up on leads through effective use of all sales tools available via phone or email.

Meet sales objectives set by management.

Follow up with the new-account set-up by calling new dealers to establish a buying relationship.

Establish telephone contact with dealers that are new, inactive, on POS reports, or smaller, guiding them towards purchasing Peerless-AV products.

Prospect opportunities in vertical markets, trade shows, or channels of distribution.

Work with sales management when special projects are needed.

Keep updated records of meaningful sales contacts in Salesforce.

Maintain professional and technical knowledge of Peerless-AV products and services.

Keep management informed of significant activity through regular verbal and email communication.
