Microsoft –– Data Engineering Lead Developer - Desarrollador de ingeniería de datos In the role of Data Engineering Lead Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure that enables efficient data collection, storage, and analysis.

You will design and implement data pipelines (ETL / ELT), optimize data architectures for performance and scalability, and ensure data quality and security.

You will work with big data tools, cloud platforms, and collaborate closely with data scientists and analysts to support data-driven decision-making on a Production Support + Development project model.

Locations for this position are Mexico (Monterrey, CDMX) on hybrid mode as per Infosys Mexico policy.Basic Qualifications : Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.Very good communication skills + English Level.Mandatory Skillsets : 4+ years of experience in data engineering with expertise in Spark (Scala), Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Factory (ADF) for building scalable data pipelines.Strong proficiency in SQL and Azure Cosmos DB for data modeling, querying, and performance optimization.Hands-on experience with Power BI, Power Automate, and Microsoft Fabric for data visualization, automation, and unified analytics.Skilled in using Azure DevOps for CI / CD, version control, and collaborative development in data projects.Other Relevant Experience : Ability to collaborate effectively with technical managers to identify and implement optimal solutions.Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and present technical insights clearly.About UsInfosys is a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting.
