We’re looking for a Regional Head of IT to lead the next stage of digital evolution across our growing network of schools in Mexico, the U.S., and LATAM. With over 8,000 students and ambitious plans to double our school count, this role offers a rare opportunity to shape IT strategy, systems, and operations from the ground up.
The Opportunity :
This isn’t about inheriting legacy systems. It’s about building the future. As the Regional Head of IT, you’ll have full visibility and influence over how technology empowers learning and operations—working hand-in-hand with regional and school leadership. You’ll manage a team of 20–25 school-based IT professionals and lead the deployment of new platforms, policies, and projects that support growth and excellence across the region.
Key Responsibilities :
- Own and lead all regional IT operations across the schools
- Act as the point of escalation and support for all school IT teams and performance issues
- Drive tech consolidation , project delivery , and budget alignment across schools
- Partner with regional leaders (Jose and others) to align business and IT goals
- Lead major upcoming projects including :
- Full rollout of new school management systems (e.g., ISAMS, Managebac)
- IT policy creation and implementation
- Campus-wide infrastructure upgrades (e.g., 5-star WiFi connectivity)
- Ensure service KPIs and operational efficiency standards are met
- Manage stakeholder relationships across school heads, regional teams, and vendors
What We're Looking For :
8–10+ years in IT service or project leadership roles, ideally in multi-site or matrixed organizationsExperience in consulting, tech implementation , or big tech companiesTrack record of leading high-visibility projects with multiple stakeholdersExposure to Microsoft tech stack and education platforms (Faria, ISAMS, OpenApply) beneficial but not requiredStrong people leader with ability to coach, support and hold IT teams accountableBilingual : Fluent in English and SpanishBased in Monterrey, with flexibility for 3+ days in office and occasional travel across the region and the U.S.Why Join ?
