Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Account Manager with 4-5 years of proven commercial experience. Preference is given to candidates with knowledge / background in the Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) market, but this is not mandatory. The role reports to the head of the assigned vertical and collaborates with marketing and operations staff.

Responsibilities

  • Follow up the sales plan defined by the company.
  • Business development : pursue new accounts / leads and manage existing accounts.
  • Define strategy, prepare commercial proposals, set pricing, negotiate deals, close sales, and provide commercial support for ongoing services for assigned customers.
  • Understand an ISO 17025 laboratory and the rules under which the laboratory operates.
  • Use CRM tools to create pricing structures and proposals and track these proposals through closure.
  • Receive purchase orders and register projects within an ISO 17025 accredited quality system.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree
  • Master Degree or MBA would be a plus
  • Engineering background in Telecommunications, Electrical or Computer Science (or similar) would be an asset
  • 4-5 years of experience
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • French and German would be a plus
  • Willingness to travel internationally occasionally for customer visits and business events
  • Experience in the TIC industry with knowledge of wireless technologies (e.g., Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, WLAN, Cellular, IoT LTE Cat M1, NB-IoT, LoRa, SigFox)
  • Familiarity with wireless industry certification schemes (Bluetooth SIG, Wi-Fi Alliance, NFC Forum, GCF, PTCRB)
  • Regulatory and Compliance knowledge across different vertical markets (Connected Car / Automotive, Medical Devices, Consumer Electronics, Industrial Safety)
