This candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of production processes, guaranteeing the manufacture of high-quality products under safe working conditions and in full compliance with the organization’s standards and procedures.
This position coordinates the implementation of CI projects, corporate initiatives, and process transfers from other plants to the Monterrey facility.
In addition, this role oversees the Maintenance Department, ensuring the availability, reliability, and optimal performance of equipment and infrastructure required for productive operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Define strategies to maintain all production equipment and facilities available and operational.
- Establish and monitor headcount requirements to meet NPI (New Product Introduction) implementations in LMB.
- Prioritize resources to implement projects, process transfers, and improvement initiatives (corporate and local).
- Manage the Maintenance and Manufacturing Engineering budgets efficiently.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable standards and procedures under ISO 9001 : 2015, ISO 14000, ISO 18000, and ISO 28000.
- Ensure personnel under their supervision develop the necessary competencies to perform any implemented changes safely and with focus on product quality and on-time delivery.
- Authorize departmental activities required to prevent operational risks, ensure product quality, and meet delivery commitments.
- Promote and reinforce a strong safety culture, actively participating in initiatives that enhance the plant’s working conditions.
Skills and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field).Minimum of 5 years in a similar role, or at least 2–3 years in a leadership position within manufacturing.Proven expertise in manufacturing processes, including process optimization, plant layout, machining, and automation.Knowledge and experience with quality systems and industrial standards (ISO).Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.Demonstrated experience in budget management.Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification preferred.Strategic and motivational leadership style.Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.Effective communication at all organizational levels.Data analysis, metric interpretation, and proactive action orientation.Business-driven mindset, focused on results and continuous improvement.Strategic ThinkingResults OrientationTeam Leadership and DevelopmentPentair is an Equal Opportunity Employer!
