Position Overview

The Senior IT Business Partner, Shop Floor Plan & Control will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing shop floor operations, including planning, inventory control, sequencing, cut optimization, and managing rework. This role requires expertise in SAP S4, SAP ME, and SAP Mii to ensure seamless integration and functionality of our manufacturing systems.

What you'll do

  • Planning : Develop and implement IT Solutions to manage a production plan to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
  • Inventory Control : IT Solutions to Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure availability of materials and minimize excess stock. Automating these controls
  • Sequencing : Develop and implement IT Solutions to coordinate and sequence production activities to maximize efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Cut Optimization : develop and maintain software tools to optimize cutting processes, minimizing waste and improving yield.
  • Rework Management : Identify and manage rework processes to ensure quality standards are maintained and production schedules are adhered to.
  • System Integration : Ensure seamless integration of SAP S4, SAP ME, and SAP Mii with shop floor operations.
  • Data Analysis : Analyze production data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Demonstrate ability to turn those ideas into solutions for the operator.
  • Continuous Improvement : Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance shop floor performance and efficiency.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and engineering, to achieve operational goals.

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in shop floor IT operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP S4, SAP ME, and SAP Mii. 10 Years’ experience with ME / Mii solutions or other MES technology.
  • Ability to standardize and improve manufacturing business processes and establish best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and best practices.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
