Responsibilities

The Opportunity

PepsiCo’s Sustain & Operations team, as part of the Digital Products and Application (DPA) organization, delivers and sustains digital products across Strategy and Transformation’s core priorities to accelerate PepsiCo’s digital transformation. The Customer Success team within this organization is responsible for driving adoption and operational excellence of digital products by ensuring an optimal end-user experience through timely resolution of incidents and application downtime. This role is for a Senior Sustain analyst / engineer in the Europe market.

Your Impact

As a Sr. IBP / Supply Chain Sustainment / Support Engineer, your responsibilities include :

  • Handling a variety of technical procedures, performing initial diagnosis, triage, and fixing issues where possible.
  • Having hands-on experience with IBP tools like O9 Solutions, SAP, Oracle, BYD, or similar, especially in Supply Chain contexts.
  • Working with product owners to confirm product runbooks, monitoring / KPI dashboards, SLAs, and customer notification procedures are correct.
  • Handling advanced troubleshooting, resolving root causes of problems, and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Expanding product functionality with automation, tooling, and dashboards, ensuring solutions are logical and maintainable.
  • Understanding customer interactions with systems to improve monitoring and creating automation to detect compliance requirements.
  • Refactoring existing code for better readability and supportability, providing code reviews, and sharing best practices.
  • Participating in on-call rotations and advising on best practices for sustaining products.
  • Creating governance strategies for AMS, working with providers to ensure stability and resiliency.
  • Analyzing application usage and incident rates to optimize contracts and reduce costs.
  • Providing concise updates to leadership, highlighting timelines, risks, and ownership.
  • Collaborating to unify SE procedures and articulating strategies for product sustainment.

Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience as an Operations Engineer in Supply Chain / IBP areas.
  • Hands-on experience with IBP tools like O9, SAP, Oracle, BYD, or similar.
  • Ability to analyze problems using relevant data and propose solutions.
  • Expertise in software languages and design patterns, with skills in refactoring and modular development.
  • Knowledge of optimizing compute resources.
  • Ability to coach engineers and evaluate technical skills.
