Data Engineer

This role is focused on building and maintaining robust data pipelines that support ingestion, transformation, normalization, and loading of data products into AWS-based production environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong Python programming expertise, hands-on experience with multiple data sources, and the ability to manage workflows end-to-end—from source to target.Responsibilities and Duties : Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for structured and semi-structured data.Load curated data into production-grade AWS databases (e.g., Redshift, RDS, Aurora, S3).

Work with various data sources such as CSV files, REST APIs, and cloud databases.Develop and optimize ETL / ELT workflows using Python and cloud-native tools.Ensure data quality, reliability, and consistency throughout all pipeline stages.Collaborate with analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to gather requirements.Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline performance issues and failures.Maintain comprehensive documentation of data flows, schemas, and transformations.Qualifications and Skills : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role.Strong proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.Solid understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.Experience with data integration tools / frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, dbt, Pandas).
