Site Reliability Engineer I Overview

The Arcus Engineering team is looking for a Jr. Site Reliability Engineer to drive our customer experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset who supports the reliability, scalability, and performance of production systems. This candidate will work closely with engineering and operations teams to automate processes, monitor infrastructure, and respond to incidents. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in systems and a passion for continuous improvement.

Role

• Supports quality or process engineering best practices to deliver services and solutions that meet stakeholders needs
• Develops foundational knowledge around quality or process engineering best practices to deliver services and solutions that meet stakeholders needs
• Supports development and validation of dashboards and reports for stakeholder needs and helps identify process improvements
• Assists with the development, building, and maintenance of assigned technologies and associated Infra products
• Resolves standard problems as they arise and provides basic technical assistance to ensure proper infra performance
• Supports compliance posture which includes escalating potential concerns, and implementing both risk mitigation plans and control functions
• Supports the development of status reports and implementation and troubleshooting activities, providing updates to project plans as needed
• May manage smaller project / initiatives as an experienced individual contributor with specialized knowledge within assigned discipline
• Provides support to ensure optimal infrastructure or process performance
• Identifies automation that can be used by initial responders for easily resolvable issues
