This engineer should also be passionate, creative, motivated, and knowledgeable with amazing communication skills to help drive conversations with Meltwater Product and Engineering teams while really listening to their needs.

What You'll Do :

In this role, you will be working to meet the functional and scalability requirements of our products. We offer total ownership of your team's products and your day-to-day will be jam-packed with opportunities to learn new technologies and grow as an engineer.

• Design and implementation of backend systems
• Be accountable for all aspects of your work, from research and analysis to testing and deployment in production as well as on-call rotation
• Commitment to excellence and mastery : We want to keep getting better together
• Write code that your peers praise for its elegance, maintenance, and readability
• Interface with the frontend application teams

What You'll Bring :

Minimum 2.5+ years’ experience in a backend software engineering role.

Experience with NodeJS and TypeScript

Experience with AWS and / or Azure

Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, RDS, Redis)

Experience with Serverless Frameworks

Experience of leading teams, demonstrating effective leadership skills and the ability to deliver results.

Willingness to commit a significant amount of time to develop skills across Digital platform technologies.

Bring energy and passion to your work, be versatile and collaborative in style, empathetic in nature, confident in content and focused on outcomes at all levels in the organization.

Helping Junior developers in development & coding

Experience with building and running applications in production utilizing serverless technology.

Preferred skills and experience :

Good hands-on experience in Node.js backend development.

Experience with GraphQL is an advantage

Hands on experience in Aws cloud technology.

Strong in problem solving, coding & debugging.

Experience with Kubernetes is an advantage.

Experience with Agile software development and working within defined project management methodologies and timelines

Experience with 3rd party API development
