How You’ll Grow
Support the growth of the Qualtrics XM customer base by building and leading a talented engineering team in Mexico.Leverage experience in building and scaling product teams.Develop our Mexico expansion into an engineering hub.Take on a leadership role from zero to one, interacting with global product engineering leadership.Act as a site owner to drive team and cultural development.What You’ll Do
Own the engineering roadmap and work with stakeholders on quarterly plans.Manage teams through feedback, mentoring, coaching, and delegation.Establish best practices for software development and documentation.Lead planning meetings, prioritize features, and work with urgency to deliver value.Guide your team in developing scalable SaaS and PaaS products to solve complex problems.Work directly with global clients to provide solutions and ensure excellent customer experience.Contribute to growing the Mexico site and global engineering team, including hiring and career development.What We’re Looking For on Your Resume
Experience managing and coaching software developers at various levels.Proactive with a proven record of delivering results.Strong background in object-oriented design with languages like Java, .NET, C#, Python, Ruby, or C++.Experience building and operating scalable, highly available internet-facing services.Expertise in modern web development technologies (JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Ruby on Rails) and frameworks (e.g., Angular).Experience as a site leader or supporting large global teams.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.8+ years of experience as a software engineer and manager.What You Should Know About This Team
