Sr. Director, Financial Operations
About the Role :
This is a leadership position that oversees financial operations across Latin America. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial analysis, reporting, and compliance with accounting standards.
The Senior R2R Director will lead process transformation, operational excellence, and a culture of service and cross-functional collaboration.
- Oversee financial analysis, reporting, and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS), including risk management and internal controls.
- Lead process transformation and continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging methodologies such as Kaizen and Six Sigma.
- Develop and manage policies, standards, and processes for financial master data and data management.
- Supervise internal and external audits, identifying risks and implementing control improvements.
- Manage strategic relationships with suppliers and stakeholders, negotiating agreements and evaluating performance.
- Lead major projects, including change management, business process modeling, and transition management.
- Analyze financial statements and key metrics, providing recommendations to executive management.
- Promote service excellence by defining service levels, value streams, and improvement initiatives.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration and strategic alliances within and outside the organization.
- Develop and implement strategies for talent acquisition, development, and succession planning.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, tax, transfer pricing, and fraud detection frameworks.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices, adapting strategies accordingly.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, information technology, or a related field.10 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, business, or related areas.At least 8 years of experience leading organizations.Certified Public Accountant (CPA).Open to travel to Latam and US.Bilingual C1.Effective communication.Big four experience in Blue Chip companies.Master's degree in accounting, finance, business, information technology, or a related field.5 years of experience in program management, transition services, or change management, and leading multifunctional teams and transformation projects, delivering significant efficiencies and improvements of SLAs.Experience with advanced data management, process automation, and digital tools.International or regional experience in Latin America.Key Competencies :
