Overview

Operations Engineer, Mobile Device Management (MDM) role at KONE. This position focuses on governance, stakeholder communication, and leading the development of KONE's Mobile Device Management platforms to secure and support mobile devices and applications used by employees in the office and on frontlines. Location : Mexico City, MX or Torreon, MX.

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and manage MDM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager, Android Enterprise, Samsung Knox, etc.).
  • Collaborate with security and other teams to ensure device compliance and secure enrollment and lifecycle management for iOS, iPadOS, and Android devices.
  • Lead governance, stakeholder communications, and development efforts for MDM platforms.
  • Support global deployments and create solutions for international environments.
  • Provide ongoing administration and support for MDM infrastructure with a focus on policy enforcement and mobile security principles.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in MDM administration and support.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager.
  • Experience with Android Enterprise and iOS / iPadOS management.
  • Knowledge of Samsung Knox and zero-touch enrollment.
  • Strong understanding of conditional access, MFA, and mobile security principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in global deployments and in international environments; familiarity with licensing terms for Microsoft and Samsung Knox is a plus.
  • MUST be bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Preferred (but not required) Skills

  • Microsoft Certification (e.g., MD-102, SC-300).
  • PowerShell scripting for automation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations.
