Position Overview

We are seeking a Structural Engineer with a strong background in cast-in-place (CIP) concrete and masonry design to join our client’s team. This role requires expertise in Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis and familiarity with ASCE 7-23 and South Florida building codes. The ideal candidate will have the ability to independently model, analyze, and design reinforced concrete structures while collaborating closely with internal and external teams. This is a high-responsibility role where technical rigor, communication skills, and a proactive work ethic are critical to success.

Key Responsibilities

• Model and analyze CIP concrete structures in Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis , ensuring compliance with ASCE 7-23 and South Florida building codes.
• Design reinforced concrete and masonry structures, with integration of steel components (wide flange beams, embed plates, etc.) as required.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and structural detailers to ensure alignment between conceptual design and final construction documents.
• Perform quality checks, review submittals, and adapt models based on client feedback and evolving field conditions.
• Prepare, modify, and deliver accurate structural design documents with minimal oversight.
• Support the production of detailed calculations, technical reports, and specifications for project submissions.
• Maintain consistency with client standards while balancing constructability, cost-efficiency, and safety.
