Our technology is revolutionizing the field of assisted reproductive technology by streamlining laboratory processes, enhancing precision, and improving success rates for fertility patients.Position OverviewWe are seeking a talented and experienced Product Designer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for revising and maintaining our existing user interfaces and standardizing the aesthetic and layout across our suite of six laboratory instruments.

Our applications have been designed and built iteratively by our software engineering teams, and we now need a dedicated design professional to create consistency and improve usability while preserving the core functionality of each interface.Key ResponsibilitiesReview existing user interfaces for the six AURA instruments and identify opportunities for standardizationCreate and implement a consistent design system across all applications, including standardized buttons, layouts, and visual elementsUnderstand the IVF laboratory workflow and the needs of the main system users (embryologists)Develop a cohesive aesthetic that enhances usability while maintaining the unique functionality of each instrumentCollaborate closely with existing software engineering teams to implement design improvementsDeliver design guides, wireframes, and mockups in FigmaDevelop a comprehensive UI style guide to ensure consistency in future developmentDesign intuitive workflows that minimize cognitive load for laboratory technicians and embryologistsDocument design decisions and specifications for implementationProvide design consultation on new features as neededRequired Qualifications3+ years of experience in product design, UI / UX design, or related fieldPortfolio demonstrating strong interface design skills for desktop or web applicationsFluency in both Spanish and English (written and verbal)Proficiency with Figma for UI / UX designExcellent visual design skills with strong attention to detailExperience in reviewing and standardizing existing user interfacesAbility to collaborate effectively with software engineering teamsStrong communication skills and ability to present design concepts effectivelyPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with Python frontend frameworksStrong experience with UI design for desktop and / or web applicationsExperience with scientific, laboratory, clinical, or technical user workflowsExperience creating and implementing design systems and component librariesUnderstanding of software development processes and constraintsDemonstrated ability to review and standardize existing interfacesExperience collaborating directly with software engineering teamsApplication ProcessPlease submit your portfolio and resume.
