DevOps Engineer – LATAM - Cloud Infrastructure (AWS & Azure)

Overview

Devblock is seeking an experienced, hands-on DevOps Engineer. This role will be deeply involved in standing up, maintaining, and optimizing secure, scalable environments on AWS and Azure—supporting the technical onboarding of new accounts and ensuring the smooth operation of cloud services in partnership with our DevOps Lead.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the DevOps Lead to document, map, and improve infrastructure and pipelines.
• Design, implement, and manage AWS and Azure infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
• Build, maintain, and improve CI / CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar).
• Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog, New Relic, Azure Monitor).
• Assist with hardening security and implementing compliance best practices across environments.
• Automate operational processes wherever possible.
• Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment and performance.
• Participate in troubleshooting incidents and remediating root causes.
• Contribute to documentation of environments, runbooks, and SOPs.
• Communicate promptly with clients and internal team members when issues arise—even if additional time is needed for research or troubleshooting.
• Context-switch effectively when handling competing priorities across multiple clients.
• Maintain professionalism and calmness when addressing high-pressure or stressful situations.
