Product Owner
About the Role
We are looking for a Product Manager with a strong background in learning, education, and coaching who will take full ownership of the miCoach product lifecycle — from strategy to execution.
This role requires a business-driven, customer-obsessed leader with the ability to define the vision, align stakeholders, and deliver measurable impact. The ideal candidate will have experience building education platforms (SaaS-based) similar to Coursera or Udemy, strong knowledge of the LATAM market, and the ability to connect business strategy with user needs in the digital career coaching space.
The Product Manager will collaborate with engineering, design, and business teams to shape the future of miCoach, ensuring scalability, usability, and competitive advantage in the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the Product Vision & Strategy : Define and articulate the product roadmap aligned with miCoach’s mission; focus on building a digital career coaching platform that addresses IT education in LATAM.
- Drive Execution & Delivery : Translate customer and business needs into clear requirements; prioritize and deliver high-quality SaaS releases with measurable results.
- Customer & Market Understanding : Gather insights from LATAM customers, employers, and learners; define and track KPIs to measure adoption and growth; validate ideas through pilots and experiments.
- Product Success : Define and propose metrics that demonstrate the value of the platform for both users and ITJ. Monitor adoption, engagement, and learning outcomes to ensure the product delivers measurable impact and aligns with business objectives.
- Cross-Functional Leadership : Partner with engineering, design, marketing, and operations to deliver end-to-end solutions; influence stakeholders without direct authority; communicate product decisions clearly.
- Business & Commercial Focus : Manage budgets, business cases, and ROI to ensure the product delivers measurable impact; collaborate with marketing and sales teams to drive adoption.
- Market & Competitive Analysis : Benchmark against education technology leaders; identify opportunities to leverage AI, data, and new business models for product growth.
- Knowledge Sharing : Apply expertise in training methodologies, coaching, or education to enhance product value and learner engagement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Education, or related field.5+ years of Product Management experience in SaaS, EdTech, or technology platforms. (e-learning platforms are a strong plus)Proven experience in building and scaling educational / coaching platforms (e.g., Coursera, Udemy, or similar).Strong business acumen with budget management and commercial strategy experience.Strong knowledge of the IT industry (academic knowledge is a plus).Deep understanding of the LATAM market and learner / enterprise needs.Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.Proven ability to define business cases, write product requirements, and build roadmaps.Leading Executive PresentationsGeneral knowledge on Cybersecurity and Data PrivacyExcellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Fluent English communication.Experience with Tools & Platforms
