Summary
The Employee Communications Specialist supports the execution of the internal communication strategy through content creation, channel management, and assistance with campaigns that reinforce company culture and a sense of belonging. This role is key to ensuring that communications are clear, engaging, and relevant, actively contributing to keeping employees informed, connected, and motivated at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the operational distribution of messages across internal channels (corporate email, intranet, screens, Teams, newsletters, etc.), ensuring timeliness and adherence to the calendar.
Monitor and follow up on the communications calendar, verifying proper scheduling and execution of messages.
Translate and adapt global messages or campaigns (English ↔ Spanish), ensuring accuracy and local relevance.
Write, edit, and publish content across internal communication channels.
Collaborate in the preparation of materials and messages for Town Halls, internal events, and cultural campaigns.
Coordinate information gathering with other departments (HR, Operations, Brand, IT, etc.).
Design or support the creation of visual and audiovisual materials (presentations, banners, videos, etc.).
Assist with administrative and follow-up tasks, such as organizing calendars and campaign reports.
Provide support in resolving basic technical issues related to internal communication channels.
Monitor communication results (engagement, participation, feedback) and assist in reporting.
Propose creative ideas to improve employee connection and engagement.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
Experience : 1–3 years in internal communications, corporate writing, or digital content creation.
Knowledge : Storytelling, writing, English-Spanish translation, scheduling, campaign management, and design tools.
Tools : Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Canva or Adobe, Excel, PowerPoint, and email marketing tools.
Languages : Native Spanish; advanced written and spoken English.
