Vp Of Operations / General Manager

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Operations to oversee and elevate our business operations in Guadalajara.

This role will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, driving process excellence, and ensuring the successful execution of strategic initiatives at a national level.The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in business strategy, operational leadership, and organizational scaling, with a proven track record of building efficient, high-performing teams and aligning operations with business growth goals.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate operations across all business functions (finance, HR, legal, sales support, customer service, etc.)Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, quality, and scalabilityEnsure alignment of local execution with the company's global strategic visionDefine KPIs, track performance metrics, and ensure the achievement of business objectivesCollaborate with senior leadership on planning, budgeting, forecasting, and growth initiativesIdentify opportunities for innovation and lead change management efforts to optimize performanceOversee compliance with local regulations and internal policiesBuild and nurture a strong leadership team and empower managers through coaching and clear performance expectationsRepresent the company in high-level conversations with key partners, vendors, and stakeholdersProvide regular updates and strategic recommendations to executive leadershipMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or related field (MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly desirable)8+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, business strategy, or general managementDemonstrated experience leading multi-functional teams and large-scale initiativesStrong knowledge of business process optimization, performance management, and operational frameworksExceptional leadership and team development capabilitiesAdvanced communication, analytical, and decision-making skillsFluency in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plusExperience working in multinational or matrix organizations is highly valuedA hands-on, accountable, and results-driven leadership styleBenefitsInsurance of major medical expenses (Sum assured $20,000,000.00 MXN)Life insurance (Death and MXN Disability)12 Days of vacation per year, plus three floating holidays in addition to the seven official holidays in Mexico30 days of Christmas bonusCell Phone ReimbursementTransportation Allowance
