Supplier Industrialization Engineer - Interiors ( SIE ) long-term Contract
Location : Ramos Arizpe, MX-Onsite
Duration : Long-term Contract
Position Summary
Plan, Organize, Integrate, Direct, Coordinate, and Control the Quality Function, ensuring compliance with the Suppliers objectives established for the area through the optimal utilization of resources, in accordance with the Quality Policy and the Health, Safety & Environmental Policy. This description aligns with the following standards : IATF 16949 : 2016, ISO 9001 : 2015, and ISO 14001 : 2015.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT
Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields :
1. Industrial Engineering
2. Mechanical Engineering
3. Manufacturing Engineering
4. Quality Engineering or a related technical discipline
Preferred (but not mandatory) :
1. Master’s Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or Business Administration (MBA)
Certifications (Highly Recommended) :
1. ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Manager of Quality / Organizational Excellence (CMQ / OE)
2. Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
3. IATF 16949 Core Tools Training (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC)
Language Requirements
1. Fluent in English (written and spoken) for technical documentation, customer communication, and global standards compliance.
2. Spanish proficiency (written and spoken) strongly preferred for collaboration with local teams, suppliers, and plant operations.
Experience Requirements
1. Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Quality within automotive or manufacturing environments.
2. Proven track record in implementing and maintaining IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 systems.
3. Hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and other core quality tools.
4. Experience leading internal and external audits, managing corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
5. Strong background in customer quality management, including handling complaints, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with customer-specific requirements.
6. Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams, train personnel, and foster a culture of quality and safety.
7. Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as metal stamping, welding, painting / coating, and assembly is highly desirable.
8. Experience with problem-solving methodologies (8D, DMAIC, root cause analysis) and Lean / Six Sigma principles.
