JOB TITLE : INSTALLATION TEAM LEADER
Responsibilities
- The Installation Team Leader or the Installation technician will assume all worker responsibilities as such :
- Execute specific installation activities according to the design documentation and Installation Supervisor orientation / instruction.
- Comply with EHS procedures and maintain PPE defined by EHS, ensure collective protections are in place, and alert the supervisor / PrIM whenever any deviation to EHS rules or EHS risk is identified.
Ensure the right means to perform the installation :
Tools calibratedUnderstanding of drawings and Method statementRight materialAccurate knowledge / training for performing the workPerform activities with quality – No deviation versus drawings and method statement = No punch pointReport and alert the hierarchical superior if any risk, difficulties or issues are identified during the installation activities that may impact safety, quality or performance of the work.In addition as Team Leader / Capataz, he will assume following responsibilities :
Manage the team for performing a task in a work location : Review up to date documentation, verify tools, verify skills and train worker if required, verify availability of material and equipment for the team to perform the tasks required, ensure access for performing the work.Perform reports as per request to the Installation Supervisor / PrIM : Daily progress report, survey report, anomaly report, EHS report, preparation of handover report.In addition as Fiber Optic Installation Technician – UTP Wiring and Connection, he will assume following responsibilities :Have expertise for critical tasks such as Fiber Optical (Installation, fusion and Testing) and UTP (Wiring and Connection); dedicated for these tasks on several projects.Train and assess project team – Support Team Leader or Worker – for developing skills and competencies in his expertise on a dedicated project.Main Required Competences
Educational Requirements (Mandatory) :
Minimum high school degree, medium technical level in (preferably electronics or electric or electromechanics systems) or equivalent experience of 3 to 5 years in similar functions.Highly qualified technician; Desirable : Construction Industry (Electrical or Electronic), Fiber Optic Field, Technical High-School DiplomaExperience (Mandatory) :
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in Industrial activities related to Electrical, Electronic, Fiber Optic Field within industry.Experience on railway products installation methodsDesirable : Be familiar with high risk activities in association with Electrical work and EHS requirementsKnowledgeable of Railway products and services on different market segments (Urban, Mainline, F&M)Knowledgeable of transversal railway construction activities (civil, infrastructure, electric, etc…)Have a good technical level in electrical, electronic, mechanical and networks domainsAbility to communicate effectively with colleagues and other functions (engineering, manufacturing, industrial, quality, …)Problem-solving and efficient decision-making in complex environmentAbility to work across sites / functions in a multi-cultural environmentTeam spirit, good communication skills, and a focus on Quality and EHSResilience with analytical thinking to solve installation issuesGood leadership skillsDriving licenseYou don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
