Overview
The Intelligence Analyst III supports the intelligence and analytical needs of a multinational company under the general direction of the Embedded Intelligence Services (EIS) department and the Intelligence Program Manager. The analyst will work directly with the client, their manager, and Crisis24 teammates to monitor for threats to business operations and produce analysis addressing client-specific requirements. The role is located in Mexico and is remote.
Annual Compensation : MXN 600,000, based on experience
Responsibilities
- Actively monitor open-source information streams, subscription services, and other sources in real time for issues that could affect the client's business operations or personnel
- Open-source intelligence collection and analysis of global security threats, regional trends, and developing events to provide timely, bespoke, and actionable intelligence to decision-makers
- Use the intelligence cycle to research, assess, and support the production of written intelligence products that meet client requirements and EIS analytic standards, including threat assessments, regular cadence deliverables, and forward-looking strategic analysis
- Carry out due diligence investigations and social media monitoring as directed
- Produce written and oral assessments that are succinct and include beneficial analysis
- Deliver oral and written threat briefings to the client’s security team or business leadership
- Understand the client footprint and interests to anticipate client needs; manage expectations regarding EIS product offerings and limitations
- Collaborate effectively with security team members
- Track and report metrics around production and deliverables
- Suggest potential improvements to the program and SOPs to the EIS manager
- Maintain daily engagement with teammates and leverage Crisis24 resources to address gaps and maintain situational awareness
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the dedicated client program
Education and Experience
5+ years of experience in intelligence analysis, threat assessment, incident response, security operations, or a related fieldBachelor’s degree in a relevant field required; Master’s degree preferredFluency in English and one other language requiredSkills
Excellent research, writing, and verbal briefing skillsStrong analytic skills and familiarity with analytic techniquesMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiencyKnowledge of Google Earth and MapsEffective problem-solving, fast learning, and multitasking abilitiesOrganizational skills with the ability to work with minimal supervisionAbility to meet timelines and deadlinesProfessional rapport with analysts, SMEs, and client contactsForeign language and travel experience preferredOther Information
Flexible hours and workdays are required to meet Crisis24’s 24 / 7 missionOccasional travel to client locations may be requiredThis position is initially a 15-month contract, subject to renewalInformation Security : Protect Crisis24 and stakeholder data and systems by adhering to policies, reporting incidents, completing regular training, and identifying improvement opportunities.
