As aSenior Java Developer (Microservices), you will join a strategic project within theRetail industry, leading the development of mission-critical APIs and applications that supportshipping and fulfillment operationsfor high-traffic web and mobile platforms.

This role requiresstrong and proven experience in Retail environments, working with complex systems, high transaction volumes, and distributed architectures. You will have a key technical leadership role, ensuring scalability, performance, reliability, and high code quality across the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and evolution ofJava-based microservicesfor Retail platforms.
• Build and maintainAPIssupportingshipping, fulfillment, and logistics workflows.
• Ensure high standards ofcode quality, performance, and system reliability.
• Participate inproduction support, monitoring, and troubleshootingof critical applications.
• Design scalable solutions forhigh-volume transactional systems.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in agile environments.
• Producetechnical documentationand contribute to technical story writing.

Desired Profile

Experience & Seniority

• 9+ years of professional experience inJava development.
• Proven background as aSenior or Lead Java Developer.
• Mandatory experience in the Retail industry (minimum 5 years) working with commerce, logistics, shipping, or fulfillment platforms.
• Experience leading technical components or initiatives.

Technical Skills

• AdvancedJava.
• Spring Boot.
• Microservices architecture.
• API design and development (REST).
• Google Cloud Platform(Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL).
• Messaging systems:RabbitMQ / PubSub.
• Transactional databases.

• TDD, unit testing, and contract testing.
• Performance optimization and production support.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
