Role Summary
The position works closely with the plant manager and the leadership team to drive key initiatives, provide decision support, and maximize returns on investment. The Finance Business Partner uses data as a strategic asset to deliver accurate planning and forecasting, and to analyze operational productivity and efficiency. The role ensures accuracy and completeness in income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement planning and forecasting, as well as timely variance analysis.
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial results and identify deviations to plan and forecast; communicate insights and recommendations to drive improvements. Promote the active use of financial data to support business decisions and identify risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with plant management to grow enterprise value (growth, margins, ROIC, FCF) and drive outcomes with business partners.
- Provide trusted finance decision support, including regular and ad hoc analysis to key stakeholders; deliver insights into trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Coordinate with accounting, shared services, treasury, and tax to ensure finance processes are executed and objectives are met.Clarify ambiguity and define role clarity; escalate when needed.
- Identify performance trends and action items for improving product volumes and profitability in collaboration with management.
- Support local implementation of enterprise transfer pricing, standard costing, and product line reporting.
- Support quarterly / 90-day forecast and monthly outlook processes; ensure timely and thorough forecast delivery.
- Develop actions with management to address forecast gaps and improve performance.
- Balance risk and opportunity to achieve acceptable forecast variance; communicate progress and updates regularly.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives with management and ensure deliverables align with objectives; provide regular performance updates.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Finance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably as a finance business partnerUS GAAP experienceExperience in operational financeStrong analytical skillsStrong computer skills in MS platformsGood written and verbal communication skillsCPA, CMA and / or MBA preferredExperience working for multinational companiesExperience with integrated ERP and BPC is desirableBS or BA degree in relevant field with 5-7 years of relevant experienceAdditional Information
