Job Summary

The General Manager will lead the launch and growth of our operations in Mexico, overseeing all strategic, commercial, regulatory, and operational aspects. This role is critical in establishing our presence, driving market penetration, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the establishment and development of the company’s operations in Mexico.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and market share.
  • Oversee regulatory compliance, including COFEPRIS approvals and local healthcare laws.
  • Build and manage high-performing teams across sales, marketing, finance, and operations.
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders : government agencies, healthcare professionals, distributors, and partners.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Manage P&L, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
  • Collaborate with global headquarters to align local strategy with corporate goals.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience in launching or expanding pharmaceutical operations in Latin America, preferably Mexico.
  • Strong knowledge of the Mexican healthcare system, regulatory environment, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
