We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead / Principal Architect to own the architecture, technical strategy, and delivery of a self-service onboarding platform built on an existing platform already designed. This role requires deep expertise in modern web and mobile development, backend architecture, containerized deployments, and third-party system integrations (3PL, WMS, OMS). The ideal candidate will drive innovation, scalability, and resilience while leading engineering teams to deliver a best-in-class onboarding experience for customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end technical architecture for the onboarding platform, ensuring scalability, security, and high performance.
  • Design and optimize microservices, APIs, and middleware for robust integrations with logistics and order management systems.
  • Drive architectural decisions for both web and mobile platforms, leveraging React (web) and React Native (mobile).

Technical Strategy & Execution :

  • Lead roadmap definition and ensure alignment with business priorities and platform scalability goals.
  • Evaluate and implement patterns for multi-tenant onboarding workflows, self-service UI, and integration frameworks.
  • Define DevOps, CI / CD, and security best practices for AWS-based containerized deployments (EKS, EC2, S3).
  • Mentor and guide cross-functional engineers (frontend, backend, DevOps) while fostering a culture of technical excellence.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical deep dives to ensure high-quality deliverables.

    • Integration Expertise :

  • Lead complex integrations with Third-Party Logistics (3PL) , Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) , and Order Management Systems (OMS) .
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless data flow across systems.
  • Backend : Python (Django), REST / GraphQL APIs, Middleware services
  • Architecture : Microservices, Containerized Applications, Event-Driven Design
  • Tooling : GitHub, CI / CD pipelines, Monitoring & Logging (Datadog, Prometheus, or similar)

    • Qualifications

  • 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 3+ years in a technical leadership or architect role.
  • Proven expertise in React / React Native , Python Django , and PostgreSQL in production-scale environments.
  • Strong track record designing and scaling containerized microservices in AWS (EKS / EC2 / S3).
  • Experience integrating enterprise logistics, supply chain, or commerce systems (3PL, WMS, OMS).
  • Solid understanding of DevOps, CI / CD, security best practices, and observability frameworks.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a business-first mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience interfacing with executives and external partners.

  • Experience with API gateways and event-driven messaging systems (Kafka, SNS / SQS).
  • Familiarity with ERP / CRM integration and B2B SaaS environments.
  • Background working with design partners or similar UI / UX-driven development teams.
