As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward.

As a part of The Education Scaled Deployments (ESD) team, you will develop services to synchronize data between Google and Classroom and Student Information Systems (SIS), enabling secure, compliant, AI-ready workflows for education clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop full-stack software solutions including User interface (UI), API and back-end components.
• Diagnose and resolve performance issues with Application programming interfaces (API) and databases.
• Implement One Roster 1.2 and other open standards in education technology to create new APIs, data pipelines and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional peers and engineering teams to prioritize tasks, manage timelines and deliver projects.
