About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the performance of multiple large-scale venues in Mexico City. This position plays a strategic and hands-on leadership role , ensuring that all operations run efficiently, profitably, and in compliance with corporate standards and local regulations.
You’ll serve as the main liaison between venues, leadership teams, clients, and local authorities, combining operational excellence with strategic direction and real-time decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the legal, profitable, and professional operation of all assigned venues.
Oversee the execution of corporate plans in HR, sales, marketing, security, energy efficiency, and customer service.
Supervise event execution , ensuring proper logistics, timing, and client satisfaction.
Address critical situations and resolve operational incidents promptly.
Review and authorize financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
Participate in investment decisions, equipment procurement, and vendor agreements.
Lead labor negotiations and handle conflict resolution as needed.
Define goals with local managers and monitor performance against KPIs.
Mentor operational leaders to ensure continuous improvement and compliance.
Represent the company in meetings with partners, vendors, and local authorities.
Qualifications
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Finance, or related field.
Master’s degree preferred.
Experience :
Minimum 5 years in senior operational management , preferably within stadiums, arenas, convention centers, events, or hospitality industries.
Experience managing large teams and coordinating high-profile events.
Skills :
Strong focus on quality, efficiency, and customer service excellence.
Expertise in budgeting, analytics, marketing, and operational strategy.
Proficiency with ERP, CRM, and POS systems.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Advanced leadership and team development skills.
Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
Availability for frequent travel and extended hours during events or audits.
