In this role, you'll be instrumental in supporting our retail business by optimizing inventory levels, ensuring timely replenishment, and maximizing sales and inventory turn.
You will leverage your expertise in planning and allocation to drive profitable decisions and support our store planning efforts.ResponsibilitiesMerchandise Planning & Inventory ManagementAssist with planning, replenishment, and inventory management to achieve sales and sell-through targets.Develop and implement product flow structures with local logistic and operation team.Analyze product performance to identify opportunities for maximizing inventory efficiency across both retail and wholesale channels.Fully accountable for stock management and optimizationAction monthly store transfers for slower-moving styles to improve sell-through and maximize stock levels.Analysis & ReportingExecute and manage daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.Participate in pre-, in-, and post-seasonal analysis to identify successes and opportunities.Attend weekly and monthly meetings to discuss business risks and opportunities.Continuously identify and propose new ideas to drive the business and improve efficiency.Buying & Merchandising StrategyBuild the product assortments at stores level that align with brand vision and financial goals.Lead the full in season / pre season and after season buying processAnalyze sales, trends, and market intelligence to inform strategic buying decisions.Collaborate with local retail and visual merchandising teams to ensure a proper customer journey and product proposition in stores in line with the merchandising strategy and the financial goals.Work closely with Global Merchandising team to influence the product creation according to specific market needs / Logistics & Operations CollaborationMaintain strong relationships with store managers to discuss inventory, replenishment, and business trends.Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate costs, and ensure timely deliveries.Qualifications & SkillsExperience : 5+ years in retail buying or merchandising, preferably in fashion or apparel.Education : Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field.Analytical Skills : Strong commercial and analytical acumen with a deep understanding of retail KPIs, margin structures, and category management.Technical Proficiency : Proficient in Microsoft Excel, merchandising systems (e.g., STEALTH), and retail analytics tools.Communication : Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.Other : Proven ability to interpret trend data and translate it into profitable product assortments.
Willingness to travel across the region for store visits and market research.
