• Demonstrate a

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and replace components on heavy-duty vehicles, including brake systems, fuel / emission systems, driveline, steering, suspension, and HVAC systems.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and battery maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems, including ADA equipment, air conditioning, brakes, chassis, cooling systems, engines, lighting, gauges, and safety equipment.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and software (e.g., Cummins Insite, Allison DOC) for accurate troubleshooting.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and hoists safely and effectively.
• Maintain accurate electronic repair orders and service records.
• Conduct test drives and operational checks to ensure proper functionality.
• Perform minor fabrication, welding, grinding, and soldering as needed.
• Respond to service calls and assist in training lower-level personnel.
• Backfill supervisory duties when required.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1-2 years of vocational / technical schooling or equivalent experience.
• Preferred
• One year of progressive heavy equipment maintenance experience.
• Two years technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Must hold and maintain
• ASE Truck or Transit Bus certifications

• EPA
• Air Conditioning Certification
• Three years of verifiable experience in heavy-duty diesel bus or truck maintenance preferred.
• Additional Requirements
• Must provide own hand tools.
• Pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.
• No criminal convictions (DWI, DUI, assault, controlled substances) within the last 5 years.
• Ability to work flexible hours in a 24 / 7 environment.
• Must be able to read and follow schematics.
• Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift heavy components and work in various positions.
• Comfortable working with in-ground and above-ground hoists.
• Certifications
• ASE Certification (required).
• EPA
• Air Conditioning Certification (required).
• Pay :
