Strategy & Risk Associate Partner

Overview

As a Cybersecurity Associate Partner with IBM Security Services, Consulting, you will define and implement long-term cybersecurity strategies that align with global business objectives and regulatory frameworks. You will act as a senior advisor to C-suite executives, ensuring robust cybersecurity, privacy protection, and compliance strategies.

Your role and responsibilities

Advise senior executives on emerging risks, privacy concerns, and regulatory challenges, offering actionable solutions.

Oversee the integration of third-party vendors and operational technologies (OT) into organizational cybersecurity frameworks.

Ensure global compliance with privacy laws and cybersecurity frameworks across all operations.

Develop and manage relationships with top executives and stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor on all cybersecurity matters.

Required technical and professional expertise

Proven ability to drive large-scale cybersecurity initiatives with strong leadership skills.

Expertise in communicating complex cybersecurity and risk management issues to senior executives and stakeholders.

Strong strategic and decision-making capabilities, especially under pressure.

Business & Technical Skills

Experience : 5-8 years in cybersecurity, GRC, or risk management, with demonstrated leadership in managing cybersecurity programs.

Languages : Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese preferred.

Technical Skills :

Advanced proficiency in MS Office and GRC tools.

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Deep knowledge of data protection technologies, privacy regulations, and cybersecurity frameworks.

Certifications : Preferable to have one or more of the following :

CISSP, CISA, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, GCIH, or Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP).
