Procurement Specialist Job DescriptionA dynamic and challenging role in a global procurement team is available for an experienced professional.Resolving payment issues with suppliers and investigating ways to improve processes.Maintaining and updating pricing information from suppliers in enterprise resource planning systems.Working closely with internal stakeholders and collaborating with the Global Procurement Operations Center.Creating and managing purchasing documents within the company's systems.Managing vendor masters, including creation, maintenance, and approval of suppliers.Identifying opportunities for cost savings and DPO enhancements.Evaluating and selecting suppliers through request for proposal (RFP) and evaluation processes.Negotiating with suppliers on price, terms, conditions, minimum order quantities, lead times, and service levels.e-Sourcing and catalog management.Sourcing and category management for tail spend subcategories.Developing and implementing sourcing strategies in collaboration with leadership.Providing analysis and strategy for competitive procurement, research, sourcing, risk mitigation, and contract management.Requirements : Project management experience is beneficial.Bachelor's degree is preferred.At least 2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, operations, or a comparable field.Fluency in English and Spanish.Experience in the chemical industry is advantageous but not necessary.Strong systems skills, including Microsoft Office and Enterprise Resource Planning Systems like SAP R3 / S4.Teamwork and collaboration skills, as well as a self-starter attitude.Ability to analyze and develop beneficial contract solutions.Excellent communication skills.Commercial negotiation skills.Service-oriented mindset, ensuring timely responses to clients' needs.Desire to grow and advance in the procurement profession.
