This role requires a strategic approach to managing projects, leading a team of electrical and software engineers, and ensuring the quality and functionality of developed systems.Key Responsibilities : Project Oversight : Organize, manage, and drive electronics and software projects from initial concept to final validation, adhering to timelines and financial constraints.Team Guidance : Mentor and direct a group of electrical and software engineers, promoting teamwork and technical proficiency.System Testing : Develop and implement test procedures to assess the safety, durability, performance, and life cycle of electrical components and software systems.Design Enhancements : Identify and integrate improvements in electronics and software designs, prioritizing reliability, efficiency.Resource Allocation : Oversee the use of electronic equipment, software tools, and budgets to maximize efficiency.Interdepartmental Coordination : Collaborate with manufacturing, quality assurance, and sales teams to ensure designs are practical and ready for production integration.Reporting : Produce comprehensive technical documentation.Education & Experience : Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline (required; advanced degree preferred).
At least 5 years managing teams of electrical and software engineers.Qualifications & Skills : In-depth knowledge of complete electrical systems, encompassing circuit design, power distribution, and control mechanisms.Advanced skills in embedded software programming (e.g., C, C++, Python, or equivalent) for automation and control applications.Proficiency in integrating hydraulic systems with electronic controls, including pumps, valves, and actuators for high-performance applications.Hands-on experience with life cycle, performance, safety, and durability testing of electrical components and software systems.Skilled in using project management and version control tools such as Jira and Bitbucket.Expertise in real-time control systems for accurate automation and operation.Proficiency in integrating sensors (e.g., proximity, pressure, motion) for system monitoring and control.Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Modbus, Ethernet) for seamless system integration.Strong project management and problem-solving capabilities.Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.Knowledge of UL and CSA standards.Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Fluent English (essential for technical documentation and communication)What makes us different?
