- Lead customs operations across multiple sites in Mexico, ensuring compliance with IMMEX, USMCA, Annex 24, OEA, and related regulations.
 - Oversee HTS classification, import / export procedures, reconciliation, and duty drawback.
 - Implement and optimize customs software to meet regulatory requirements.
 - Partner with maquila operations and U.S. corporate teams to align compliance with strategic goals.
 - Manage audits (state and federal) and support LATAM / intra-Mexico shipments.
 - Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing customs team.
 - Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends; travel within Mexico and the U.S. as required.
 
Perfil del candidato
A successful Senior Manager, Custom Operations should have :
8+ years of experience in customs operations, with at least 5 years managing maquila operations.In-depth knowledge of :
HTS classification.Import / export processes.Reconciliation and duty drawback procedures.IMMEX, USMCA, Annex 24, and OEA regulations.Proven experience complying with customs audits and working with government agencies.Familiarity with intra-Mexico and LATAM shipping practices from a customs perspective.Experience implementing or using customs software programs (USMCA / GTM knowledge a plus).Understanding of maquila operations is essential.Customs brokerage license is a plus, but not required.Willingness and ability to travel within Mexico and to the U.S.Bilingual : English and Spanish fluency required.Oferta de empleo
