TE is looking to transform and create a best-in-class supply base that will enable "zero defect quality culture" and significant growth within the business.Job RequirementsWork with assigned suppliers to organize and implement actions to assure delivery of products and / or services that meet established requirements and fulfills customer needs and expectationsCoach suppliers regarding Operational Excellence, Root Cause Corrective Action, Problem Solving.Lead, drive, and support root cause and corrective action investigations with the supply baseReview and approve FAIRs, PPAPs, FMEA, Control plans, 8D reportsVerify effectiveness of corrective actionsEffectively facilitate supplier assessments / audits on timeSupport development of qualification, test and Inspection Plans.Ensure phase gates deliverables are completed per processMonitor and track all supplier deviations to closureMaintain compliance to established procurement and quality systemsDevelop and oversee necessary supplier Zero Defect continuous improvement plansLead initiatives and special projects as assigned to support commodity and supply base improvementsImplement plans to drive key metrics, such as cost of poor quality, supplier recovery, defect rate, supplier quality plan engagement / effectiveness,PPAP completion, audit execution and corrective and preventative action closureManage material review dispositions for supplier non-conforming materials or productsManage the change action board to ensure compliance to the documented change processAnalyzes data to identify chronic underperforming suppliers and establish a rhythm to monitor PDCA process to ensure improvement.Monitor and review critical parameters under statistical process control, taking the necessary actions (updating limits, etc).
