This is your opportunity to join STRATTEC as a Plastic Injection Mold Design Engineer.

Objective :

Design and manufacture new molds, ensuring their proper operation.

Responsibilities :

Design equipment, molds, and inserts.

Coordinate new projects with the Product Engineer, Molding Engineer, and team.

Update drawings, mold folders, and equipment affected by local ECOs.

Contact suppliers.

Run prototype runs of new molds.

Determine tooling needs for new equipment.

Implement TPM for equipment and molds.

Qualifications :

Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or similar

Minimum 3 years of experience in plastic injection mold design

Bilingual English - Spanish

Mold Flow

Advanced SolidWorks

Validation of Plastic Injection Molds

The position is located in Plant 2, located in Parque Industrial Los Aztecas. The plant's main activity is the production, molding, and assembly of automotive components.
