A Fortune 50 client is looking for a Data Scientist to support their Integrated Business Planning (IBP) program.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced time series modeling techniques for demand forecasting.
- Maintain and improve model performance by retraining models as needed.
- BUILD, tune, and evaluate supervised learning models for classification and regression tasks.
- Perform feature engineering, selection, and validation to optimize model accuracy and robustness.
- Pipeline Orchestration : Design and implement ETL workflows in Azure Data Factory to ingest, cleanse, and transform large datasets.
- Process and analyze big data efficiently using Databricks and Spark.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations in Power BI to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Translate complex analytical outcomes into clear, actionable business recommendations.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or similar role in an analytics environment.Proven track record building time series and machine learning models in production.Programming skills in Python, SQL, and experience with big data platforms like Databricks and Apache Spark.Knowledge of different models such as ARIMA / SARIMA, Prophet, Croston's method, ETS, XGBoost, Random Forest, and / or Gradient Boosting.ETL & Orchestration : Experience with Azure Data Factory or equivalent tools.Model Management : Familiarity with MLflow or similar experiment tracking and model registry systems.Deployment : Experience with Docker and CI / CD tools like Azure DevOps or Jenkins.Visualization : Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent data visualization tools.Fluent in English and Spanish.Ability to work in fast-paced global enterprise environments.Excellent team player.
