Ability to work effectively with cross-functional / multi-disciplined teams including but not limited to : Product Management, Commercialization, Sales Administration, Market Communications, and Sales force representatives. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite & other PC based systems, as well as Internet Explorer Understanding of Marketing Communications concepts General knowledge of medical device industry Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or other related field. Minimum one 3-5 years of experience in marketing, corporate communications, or medical device product management.

What You Can Expect
The Marketing Communications Specialist will support the Global Marketing Communication and Product Management teams in establishing and implementing marketing campaigns for specified product brand(s).
How You'll Create Impact
- Develops messaging and content while actively participating in the generation of marketing collateral to support all phases of the product and / or product segment life cycle. May lead cross-functional teams and / or allocate necessary work to complete projects on time and in budget.
- Independently responsible for executing all marketing communication activitiesfor assigned products in a way that supports the overriding business unitstrategy. This includes collaboration with internal production team and externalvendors, where appropriate.
- Manages on-time delivery of assigned projects from approved concept throughdelivery of final materials. This includes schedule management, vendorcoordination, review / approval workflow and budget management.
- Assists with communication strategy development and executes marketingprojects once strategy is defined.
- Is ultimately responsible for the execution of strategic global marketing messagein collaboration with Product Marketing and Marketing Communications teammembers.
- Actively participates in creative briefing sessions with Product Managers,Marketing staff and external agencies.
- Ensures all projects completed for assigned product brand(s) stay on time andwithin budget.
- Participates in key stage-gate meetings during the product development cycle forassigned products.
- Works with Marcom & cross-functional team members to maintain finalmarketing materials, online literature catalogs, provide meeting planning andsupport and assist with various projects as needed.
- Develops and maintains a moderate level of product knowledge for assignedproduct brands in order to communicate product details effectively for externalaudiences.
