We are currently looking for a dedicated QA Automotive Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing automotive software and embedded systems, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality and functionality.
As a QA Automotive Engineer, you will design and execute test cases for embedded systems, develop testing protocols, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and fix defects in automotive systems and software. Your contributions will be crucial in delivering reliable solutions that enhance vehicle performance and safety.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform functional, regression, and system testing on embedded automotive software.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases based on requirements and specifications.
- Utilize industry-standard tools and methodologies to evaluate software performance and compliance with automotive standards (e.g., ISO 26262).
- Collaborate with software developers and system engineers to diagnose issues and validate fixes.
- Conduct manual and automated testing of ECUs and TCU software.
- Analyze test results and document findings, providing insights on quality metrics and improvement areas.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to test strategy discussions.
- Maintain and update documentation for testing procedures, test cases, and defect tracking.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in QA within the automotive industry or embedded systems.Strong knowledge of automotive protocols such as CAN, LIN, and UDS.Experience with test automation tools and scripting for embedded systems.Familiarity with software development processes, Agile methodologies, and version control systems (e.g., Git).Understanding of functional safety concepts and standards (e.g., ISO 26262).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.Benefits
Salary starting from $7 USD per hour. D.O.E.Full or part-time positions available. Monday-Friday from 9 am-7 pm. 40 hours per week.
