The Director of Finance will serve as a strategic business partner to the executive leadership team, overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance. This role is responsible for ensuring the financial health of the organization and driving business performance through data-driven financial planning and analysis. Position Overview : We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Director of Finance to join our executive leadership team in the transportation sector. • Educational Background : Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree highly preferred. - Professional Experience : A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the transportation or logistics sector.- Financial Acumen : Proven track record in managing sizable budgets and financial forecasting, with a deep understanding of financial metrics and key performance indicators.- Leadership Ability : Strong leadership skills with experience in building and empowering teams, fostering a results-oriented environment.- Communication Mastery : Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging and influencing diverse stakeholders at all levels.- Technical Proficiency : Proficiency in financial management software and ERP systems, with advanced Excel skills.
