Job Summary
The Lead Engineering Services Engineer (Supervisor IE) will technically lead the cross‑functional design team, ensuring phase‑gate technical milestones are met and design specifications align. The role leads technical reviews and demonstrates experience releasing products into a production environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Meet the requirements of a Senior Engineer.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in the field of competency.
- Represent Jabil Engineering Services in technical customer discussions and meetings.
- Collaborate with Project Manager Engineering Services in the quoting process.
- Provide technical input to identify and solve project risks affecting overall plans and schedules.
- Support the development and utilization of processes for design and VAVE.
- Drive delivery of a complete design package and VAVE analysis at appropriate phase gates, entering requirements, design documentation, databases, BOMs, and detailed proposals into the PDM system.
- Lead all elements of design / VAVE engineering, including design reviews, design verification, implementation, supply chain and supplier feedback, requirements implementation, and transfer to design and manufacturing teams.
- Mentor Senior Engineers and below.
- Provide onsite technical support for all manufacturing builds, including engineering prototypes, NPI, and production releases.
- Stay abreast of the latest technology and techniques to provide designs that are competitive and cost effective.
- Support management in identifying internal and external resources to support product development and analysis.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Mathematical Skills : apply probability, statistics, plane and solid geometry, trigonometry, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability : define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions; interpret extensive technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and develop mathematical models of physical reality and solve them.
Education & Experience Requirements
