Job Summary
We are looking for a talented Data Scientist to join our client’s dynamic digital media team. You will measure and interpret data from digital campaigns, websites, and other channels to inform content strategies, optimize performance, and drive business growth. You will use tools like Google Analytics and data visualization platforms to track key metrics, generate actionable insights, and support data-driven decision-making across the team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning data into stories that boost digital media efforts.
Responsibilities
- Track and analyze performance metrics across digital platforms, including website traffic, reach, impressions, CTR, conversion rates, bounce rates, and ROI, using tools such as Google Analytics (GA4) and Meta Ads Manager.
- Prepare monthly and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate insights into campaign effectiveness, audience behavior, and content performance to stakeholders and cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, content, and design).
- Conduct A / B testing, audience segmentation, and optimization experiments to improve user experience, conversion rates, and overall digital strategy.
- Monitor trends, spikes, or dips in metrics and provide recommendations to refine content, campaigns, and budget allocation.
- Perform competitor research and market analysis to benchmark performance and identify opportunities for innovation in digital media.
- Collaborate with teams to set KPIs, ensure data integrity (e.g., via proper tagging and tracking), and integrate insights into broader business objectives.
- Assist in data aggregation, cleaning, and visualization to support real-time decision-making and long-term planning.
Qualifications, Skills and Key Competencies
Education : bachelor’s degree in data analytics, marketing, statistics, business intelligence, or a related field. Relevant experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.Experience : 2+ years in data analysis, preferably in digital media, marketing, or related industry; experience with multichannel campaigns is a plus. Working knowledge of Google Ads and other digital marketing networks is a plus.Technical Skills : Proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and data visualization tools like TapClicks or PowerBI; knowledge of Excel, SQL for data querying, and familiarity with web / digital marketing platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Business Suite).Soft Skills : Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities; strong communication and presentation skills for collaborating with teams and articulating insights to non-technical stakeholders; attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Seniority level
