Junior It Specialist

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior IT Specialist to join our global IT team.

This role focuses on delivering high-quality user support in our fast paced production environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with both local and international colleagues to ensure consistent, secure, and efficient IT operations.Key Responsibilities :

• Provide first-line technical support to local users via email, phone, and in person, in alignment with global service standards.
• Participate in our global IT service team to support our follow the sun support strategy
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues across various devices and platforms.
• Support the maintenance and monitoring of building security systems, including access control and CCTV, in accordance with global security guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of support requests, solutions, and asset inventory.
• Collaborate with global IT teams to implement updates, system rollouts, and process improvements.
• Ensure all work complies with corporate IT policies, security standards, and best practices.Qualifications :
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science (or 2 years relevant work experience along with technical certification, Microsoft).
• Minimum of 1 year in technical support services.
• Comprehensive knowledge of computer hardware, network design, components and services.
• Strong technical knowledge of operating systems including : Windows Server , Windows 11 and Linux.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration is preferred.
• Experience with user management in Active Directory and Entra.
• Experience with Zoom and Zoom phone administration is a plus.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with little or no assistance.
• Experience in managing IoT devices and environments.
• Excellent written and verbal skills in English and Spanish.
• Understanding of networking and cybersecurity principles is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a global, cross-functional team.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative IT environment.Physical Requirements / Work Environment :
• Work is performed in an office and manufacturing environment and in the field.
• Less than 10% travel.
• Must be willing to work afterhours to support production in case of emergencies
