  • Within a lamp project, this position leads all electronics and electrical development activities (as a Sub-System of the lamp), including LED electronics, wire harnesses, LED drivers, and Controls for Head- and Rear-Lamps.
  • Acts as the customer technical key contact for electronics and electrical subsystem.
  • Analyzes project requirements (customer and internal), develops, and maintains the electronics schedule aligned with customer project milestones, lamp schedule, and release plan to ensure a successful product launch.
  • Responsible for mechanical BOM release and updates.
  • Defines, plans, and tracks work packages for all electronics disciplines (System Design, HW design, SW design, System validation, HW validation, SW validation, ECAD, MCAD).
  • Organizes technical reviews of work products (designs, architecture, requirements, test plans, test reports). Supports lamp technical design reviews (TDR) and participates in other project reviews upon request.
  • Applies project change, defect, and risk management in accordance with the PO Lighting development process to comply with automotive SPICE requirements.
  • Tracks Electronics Product BOM and engineering costs to maintain or achieve profitability.
  • Supports customer presentations and discussions, presenting technical content of quotations or development results.
  • Consults with the customer on technical requirements, agrees on solutions, and tracks internal or external changes.
  • Ensures compliance and maintenance of processes according to automotive standards, specifically ASPICE and ISO26262.
  • Participates in the creation of DFMEA, CAE plan, DV plan, component testing, and certification in line with customer specifications and legal requirements.
  • Collaborates within the team to support successful DV / PV and timely delivery of PPAP.
  • Seeks innovation opportunities, cost optimizations, and actively participates in DCRM sessions and their implementation.
  • Supports project quotations through technical reviews and effort estimations.
  • Performs other activities as required.
  • Education Requirements :
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience Requirements :
  • Over 3 years of professional experience in automotive electrical engineering.
  • Practical experience in project management of automotive electronic products (hardware or software).
  • Strong organizational skills and self-motivation.
  • Willingness to travel nationally or internationally for business.
  • Practical experience with tools such as MS-Office, MS-Project, IBM RTC, DOORS, Rhapsody, SYSML, UML, etc.
  • High cost consciousness.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
