Responsibilities
The Opportunity
The Opex Analyst will play a key role in direct profit planning, reporting, and control across the region. This position is responsible for delivering world-class Opex support within the Global Business Services (GBS) organization, with a primary focus on Brazil. The role involves conducting detailed Opex analyses, interpreting actual results, and supporting forecasting activities — with special emphasis on inflation, productivity, and functional initiatives. The analyst will partner closely with the Market Unit (MU) operations and FP&A teams to provide accurate, timely information that supports decision-making and ensures compliance with established Opex Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Your Impact
As a Finance Analyst, your key responsibilities will include :
- Deliver high-quality financial services to GBS Finance clients in line with established SLAs, with responsibility for commodities inflation tracking and productivity yield alignment.
- Develop a deep understanding of the financial objectives and commercial strategies of different Operating Units (OUs) to effectively act as a trusted business partner.
- Collaborate with the Procurement Finance team to align on commodity inflation data and assess its financial impact on Brazil.
- Perform detailed actuals analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and variances, ensuring proactive recommendations and actions.
- Coordinate the Opex AOP (Annual Operating Plan), monthly closings, and forecasting cycles — identifying performance gaps and proposing corrective measures based on market trends, inflation insights, and business dynamics.
- Generate FX sensitivity analyses to assess and communicate potential impacts on financial performance.
