Overview
Planning Trainee role focused on supporting Material Planning processes and ensuring timely material availability. The position provides an opportunity to gain knowledge and experience to develop a professional career in logistics and planning.
Responsibilities
- MRP System Accuracy
- Accurate daily maintenance of Standard Work activities to avoid line impacts
- Map the different planning processes to understand the key elements
- Ensure the demand for materials is met and deliveries, transits & receipts are made on time based on the original MRP schedule
- Contribute to Planning Department KPIs : Parameters, MD06, Shipping Compliance
- Maintain optimum obsolescence, overstock, safety stock & parameter levels
- Ensure effective communication with suppliers to address business needs
- Work closely with the Purchasing team to fulfill production requirements
- Assess impact definitions for PWC BOM Materials
- Assess assembly complexity for all PWC BOM Materials
- Multidisciplinary teamwork
- Define type of impact for all PWC BOM Materials
