Customer Business Support (CBS) is part of Global GTM Operations which reports into Corporate Portfolio and Strategy to Exec area.

Mission : Reduce the effects of internal complexity so that Services Sales and Delivery can focus on Customer Success.

Goal : Increase Services Sales Productivity and Delivery Operations Accuracy.

You will be joining a team of young, dynamic professionals supporting over 1500 projects in North America.

What you’ll do :

Position title : SAP CBS Americas - Delivery Operations Next Gen

Location : LAC - Mexico

In this role, you’ll

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVE OF POSITION

The role of the Project Operations Intern is to support a senior Project Manager, Portfolio Manager, or Program Manager in all aspects of the project life cycle using our SAP tools and Project Management Methodology. This internship supports SAP Services delivery on customer engagements and includes :

  • Assisting with time entry consolidations and billing reconciliations
  • Coordinating project documentation and project creation in SAP systems
  • Assisting with monitoring and controlling project activities
  • Assisting with revenue forecasting of a project
  • Assisting with project analysis
  • Maintaining master and transactional data for local and Global project reporting
  • Working with consultants and project managers to ensure accuracy of project reporting
  • Capturing project metrics and communicating them to SAP or Customer teams
  • Learning SAP Tools and Systems

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of projects using internal tools
  • Assist in monitoring and controlling project activities and deliverables using internal and external tracking tools
  • Assist in managing revenue forecasting
  • Assist in weekly and monthly status reporting
  • Assist in developing processes and templates and establishing document control procedures
  • SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

  • Must be able to work as a team player, while also able to work independently
  • Analytical and detail-oriented
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills including verbal, written, presentation and listening
  • EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    Must be a student or recently graduated from an accredited university in Business Administration with emphasis on Project Management, Finance, Business & Engineering, Information Systems (Technology), Computer Science, Analytics or relevant degree, or within six months of graduation.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    0 to 12 months of relevant work experience in a corporate environment through internships or recent work experience.

    Prior educational or work experience involving project coordination and collaboration is preferred.

    Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
