The Impact You'll Make

Danfoss Mexico is looking for a Strategic Buyer , for our plant in Reynosa or Queretaro. As Strategic Buyer you will be responsible for operational procurement activities related to Fluid Conveyance hose materials and metal products, acting as a key point of contact for our suppliers while working hand in hand with our Operational and Supply Chain groups.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support organization goals and objectives with emphasis on cost savings, supplier performance, contribution margin, and sales.
  • Both regional and global supplier strategy and supplier capacity management for our hose and fitting product portfolio.
  • Sourcing, material change management, and PPAP activities.
  • Quoting and contract review, negotiation, and evaluation.
  • Supplier accountability for on-time delivery and reimbursement claims.
  • Negotiation and implementation of inventory solutions (CMI, VMI, 3PL, .

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelors Degree (Logisitcs, Supply Chain, Operations Related)
  • 3+ years’ experience in procurement, supply chain, or parts / supplier management
  • SAP or other ERP systems (., Oracle, JD Edwards) working knowledge.
  • Siemens Teamcenter PLM knowledge.
  • Experience in negotiating quotes and contracts.
  • Experience with engineering changes and qualification activities (PPAP)
  • Visa and Passport
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
