Logistics Engineer I (Monterrey)

WHAT THE CANDIDATE WILL DO - Gather customer data requirements - Schedule strategy calls with project stakeholders - Summarize and present effectively data gathered - Ensure project deliverables meet customer expectations - Communicate effective, prompt, detailed and courteous communication - Execute rate analysis - Analyze consolidation opportunities - Ad-hoc reporting - Qualitative and quantitative statistical analysis to provide supply chain solutions - Use advanced modeling tools to evaluate and optimize customer's transportation and distribution network BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 0-2 years' experience in a related industry or field preferred - Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or closely related engineering field is required - Advanced Spanish and English written, oral, and presentation communication skills. Must - Statistical analysis expertise in the collection, examination, summarization, manipulation and interpretation of quantitative and qualitative data to discover underlying causes, patterns, trends and relationships. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Basic knowledge of supply chain management, logistics and transportation industry - Ability to be adaptable and work analytically in a problem-solving environment - Basic knowledge of optimization software or tools - Strong project management skills and Microsoft office package knowledge - Basic knowledge / experience with Microsoft Access and Tableau / Power BI
